Love recruitment, but ready to become a true HR generalist?

If you love the people side of recruitment but you're ready for more, this could be the career move you've been waiting for.

At Multispares, you won't be boxed into talent acquisition. You'll gain genuine, hands-on exposure across HR, recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, succession, HR analytics, performance, systems and business partnering.

You'll work closely with an experienced Group HR & Safety Manager, with the opportunity to learn, take ownership and progressively step into more senior HR responsibilities. And if further HR study is part of your plan? We'll support that too. This is a role for someone who genuinely wants to build a career in HR ,and wants to become exceptionally good at it.

Why Multispares?

Since 1976, Multispares has helped keep Australia moving as a trusted supplier of truck, bus and trailer parts across Australia and New Zealand. But what makes this opportunity different is the people.

This is a business that genuinely cares about its employees and a HR team that backs each other. Everyone understands each other's roles, pitches in when someone is away and takes responsibility for getting things done. No egos. No "that's not my job". Just a team that genuinely has each other's backs.

You'll also have:

  • Real exposure across the full HR function
  • A genuine pathway into senior HR and leadership
  • Support for further HR-related study and development
  • Direct mentoring from the Group HR & Safety Manager
  • The opportunity to take ownership as your capability grows
  • Hybrid working available after six months
  • A people-first organisation that genuinely looks after its team

What will you actually be doing?

Recruitment will be an important part of your role. You'll manage end-to-end recruitment across Australia and New Zealand, build talent pipelines and work with leaders to understand what their teams need now and in the future. But that's only part of it.

You'll also get involved in:

  • Employee relations and performance matters
  • Workforce and succession planning
  • HR reporting, analytics and workforce trends
  • Supporting and coaching managers through people challenges
  • Improving HR systems, processes and ways of working
  • HR administration, compliance and documentation
  • Broader people initiatives across the business

The more capable you become, the more you'll be encouraged to take ownership.

Who are we looking for?

Experience matters, but who you are will matter just as much. We're looking for someone driven and ambitious about their HR career, but also someone people naturally connect with. You're the person colleagues walk towards, not away from.

You can read the room. You build relationships easily. You know when to listen, when to ask another question and when something needs action.

You'll also be someone who:

  • Takes genuine accountability for their work and actions
  • Has an exceptionally high level of attention to detail
  • Takes pride in getting things right - not nearly right
  • Can juggle competing priorities without losing track of the details
  • Is curious, proactive and keen to learn

Ideally, you'll already have experience across recruitment, talent acquisition or HR, with exposure to end-to-end recruitment, HR administration and supporting managers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with confidence using Excel, data and reporting.

Where could this take you?

That's one of the best parts. You might join us with a strong recruitment background and some HR exposure. Over time, you could develop into a highly capable HR generalist, take ownership of broader people initiatives and progress towards Senior HR Advisor or HR leadership opportunities.

If you're looking for a job where you can stay comfortably in your lane, this probably isn't it.

But if you want to learn, stretch yourself, take ownership and build a genuine long-term career in HR, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on offer

  • Flexibility around your start and finish times ( this is a full time 40 hr a week role)
  • A salary that reflects the experience and capability you bring
  • Salary insurance for additional peace of mind
  • Staff events, recognition and rewards
  • Hybrid working available after six months
  • Support for further HR-related study and professional development
